A 4x4 vehicle is ideal for exploring the diverse landscapes of Oman. Many attractions are accessible off the main roads, and a 4WD allows access to remote locations like the desert camps and mountain villages.

What is the best time to travel the Oman?

The best time to visit northern Oman is during the cooler months between October and April. Temperatures are comfortable and you can take full advantage of outdoor activities and sightseeing. Should you go to the mountains e.g. to Jabal Akhdar, I recommend you to go in the summer or a transitional period because it can reach 0 degrees here in the Omani winter. In summer, on the other hand, around 30 degrees.

What about the Dress Code in Oman?
